Self-Hosted OpenVPN Implementation for Remote Work

I successfully implemented a self-hosted VPN solution using OpenVPN to secure employees' remote access. This project involved configuring and deploying OpenVPN servers to facilitate secure, encrypted connections for remote workers. This ensured their ability to access internal resources safely from any location. The initiative significantly enhanced the organization's security posture by protecting data in transit and supporting seamless remote operations, thus enabling a flexible and secure working environment.

Self-Hosted Splunk UBA Deployment

In this project, I deployed Splunk User Behavior Analytics (UBA) in multiple organizations to improve their security by using advanced analytics to detect insider threats and external attacks. My responsibilities included configuring and optimizing Splunk UBA to meet each organization's security requirements. This project showcased my capability to implement state-of-the-art security solutions that proactively identify unusual behavior and protect sensitive data.

Self-Hosted LibreChat.ai Deployment

I initiated and managed the deployment of LibreChat.ai, a self-hosted AI chat system, to improve internal communications within the organization. This project involved setting up LibreChat.ai on our servers to create a secure, customizable, scalable messaging platform. The successful implementation has resulted in more efficient communication, enhanced team collaboration, and maintained privacy with end-to-end encryption, thereby boosting overall productivity and data security.

Self-Hosted Splunk Deployment

I led the design and implementation of a self-hosted Splunk instance to improve data analytics and bolster cybersecurity measures within the organization. This project included configuring and customizing Splunk to collect, analyze, and display large amounts of data from different sources, delivering practical insights for early threat detection and system enhancement. The deployment enabled the organization to enhance real-time monitoring and make data-driven decisions more effectively.

Searx Installation

I successfully led the deployment of Searx, a privacy-respecting, open-source metasearch engine, across multiple organizations. This project involved customizing Searx to meet various operational needs, enhancing user privacy, and improving search functionality without compromising on speed or accuracy. The implementation prioritized securing sensitive data and providing a user-friendly search interface, which significantly enhanced each organization’s control over data privacy and search capabilities.

Self-Hosted Pi-hole on Docker Implementation

I Led a Pi-hole deployment on Docker to improve network ad-blocking capabilities throughout the organization. This project included configuring Pi-hole within Docker containers to establish a lightweight, scalable, and efficient ad-blocking solution. The implementation has notably decreased unwanted content and network traffic, enhancing overall network performance and security while enabling centralized control over network advertising.

Self-Hosted 3CX

I successfully implemented a self-hosted 3CX system to improve communication across multiple organizations. This involved setting up and deploying 3CX, an advanced VoIP PBX system, to replace traditional phone systems. As a result, operational costs were reduced, and call management, scalability, and flexibility were improved. The initiative significantly enhanced internal and external communications by seamlessly integrating voice, video, and live chat services into our IT infrastructure.

Self-Hosted Peppermint Helpdesk Implementation

I successfully implemented the self-hosted Peppermint helpdesk system to optimize customer support workflows and improve service response times. The project involved setting up Peppermint to manage and track customer inquiries and support tickets efficiently. The new system has improved communication, streamlined issue resolution, and increased customer satisfaction by providing a more organized and accessible service platform.

Self-Hosted Kasm Workspaces Implementation

I spearheaded the rollout of self-hosted Kasm Workspaces, creating a secure, containerized environment for web-based applications and desktops. This initiative included setting up Kasm to provide on-demand, disposable desktops and browsers, significantly improving security and privacy for our organizational data. The practical implementation has facilitated secure remote access, simplified IT resource management, and strengthened data compliance throughout the organization.
