I assisted an organization in conducting a thorough review and documentation of employee access levels to ensure that they aligned with the principle of least privilege. This project involved auditing existing access permissions across different departments to identify and fix any discrepancies between actual and necessary access rights. Our efforts focused on improving security protocols, reducing unnecessary access, and ensuring that all employees had only the essential permissions needed to perform their job functions effectively. As a result, we created a more secure and compliant operational environment, minimizing potential vulnerabilities and improving overall data security practices.

Project Management of EDI Transition from DiCentral to TrueCommerce

I managed the strategic transition of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services from DiCentral to TrueCommerce, ensuring a smooth migration process. As project manager, I coordinated between internal and TrueCommerce teams to provide all necessary resources for a successful transition. This involved detailed planning, resource allocation, and ongoing support to address any technical challenges. The successful migration improved our EDI capabilities, enhanced operational efficiency, and supported our business objectives with more robust and scalable solutions.

Multi-Channel Order Integration with Warehouse System

I was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive solution that streamlined the connection between multi-channel orders and warehouse operations. This helped enhance overall efficiency and reduce user errors. The project involved using a combination of Salesforce, TrueCommerce, Jitterbit, Cloud4J, and an SFTP server and integrating with QuickBooks. As a result, we achieved a seamless system that automated order processing, improved inventory management accuracy, and expedited shipping processes. The integration significantly increased operational speed and reliability, impacting customer satisfaction and operational scalability.

Event Reservation Optimization Using Zapier and BoothBook

I spearheaded the implementation of a solution to optimize event reservation inquiries. We seamlessly transitioned from Squarespace to BoothBook through Zapier integrations and Google Sheets. This project enhanced lead capture and retargeting mechanisms, significantly boosting event reservations. We minimized manual errors and improved operational efficiency by automating inquiry processing and data entry with BoothBook automation. This streamlined approach not only accelerated reservation processing but also refined the customer pipeline stages, increasing worker efficiency and enhancing the customer experience.

Business WiFi Enhancement and Fiber Optic Upgrade

I oversaw a complete upgrade of a company's network infrastructure to resolve critical WiFi signal problems and improve overall network performance. This involved thoroughly evaluating the existing network setup and installing a solid WiFi mesh system to ensure comprehensive coverage throughout the office. Additionally, I managed the switch to a 2G fiber internet connection, significantly boosting internet speed and reliability. The project greatly improved network coverage and performance, meeting the organization's increasing technological needs.

Remote Work Technology and Software Optimization

I led a strategic initiative to evaluate and improve the technology and software used in our business to ensure that our employees have the tools they need to work effectively from home. This project involved assessing our current technology and software usage, identifying shortcomings, and implementing customized solutions to address the specific requirements of remote work environments. The upgrades facilitated smooth remote operations and increased productivity and employee satisfaction by enabling a more efficient and connected workflow.

E-commerce Platform Migration from BigCommerce to Shopify

I was instrumental in overseeing the transition of an organization's e-commerce operations from BigCommerce to Shopify. This involved thorough planning and execution to seamlessly transfer product data, customer information, and transaction history. The project improved the shopping experience with better platform usability, enhanced integration capabilities, and streamlined management features. As a result, there was an increase in sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Searx Installation

I successfully led the deployment of Searx, a privacy-respecting, open-source metasearch engine, across multiple organizations. This project involved customizing Searx to meet various operational needs, enhancing user privacy, and improving search functionality without compromising on speed or accuracy. The implementation prioritized securing sensitive data and providing a user-friendly search interface, which significantly enhanced each organization’s control over data privacy and search capabilities.

YubiKey Implementation and Staff Training

I played a crucial role in implementing YubiKey technology throughout our organization to boost security against cyber threats. This project involved integrating YubiKey as a robust two-factor authentication solution to protect sensitive data and access points. In addition, I led thorough training sessions for our staff, educating them on how to use YubiKey, its security benefits, and the best practices for maintaining strong cybersecurity. This initiative strengthened our defenses against outside threats and equipped our employees with the knowledge to utilize advanced security tools effectively.

Google Groups Implementation for Enhanced Email Communication

I assisted in improving internal and external email communications by setting up Google Groups for various team and customer service functions within the organization. This helped to organize emails into specific groups, making it easier to see and respond to them. It also allowed team members to work together to respond to customer inquiries. Managers could assign emails to the right people, making task delegation more effective and ensuring timely and accurate responses. This project greatly improved communication efficiency and customer interaction.
